Objectified

Objectifiedย is a stirring fine art photography project which seeks to unravel the layers of human relationships in our current social climate. It’s a non-judgemental exploration of how we, as individuals and as a society, objectify others and are in turn objectified, often reduced to mere components of someone else’s fantasy.

The project delivers a social commentary on the dehumanisation of relationships, exacerbated by the proliferation of dating apps and the prevailing ideology of capitalism and neoliberalism, underscored by an obsessive tendency to quantify, measure, and track everything through data and numbers.

My personal experiences serve as the springboard for this dialogue, encouraging viewers to delve into their own experiences of objectification. It’s a project that challenges viewers to engage, reflect and question.
